Opera Hors d’oeuvres

Join Pensacola Opera’s Artists in Residence and Director of Education and Community Outreach Director, Timothy Kennedy at Barnes and Nobles Booksellers for a taste of the upcoming opera. These previews of our operas include an informal discussion about the opera as well as musical tastes from it sung by our Artists in Residence. These presentations are free and family friendly!

Gallery Talks

Throughout history, visual art and music have influenced each other profoundly. Jointly presented with the Pensacola Museum of Art, these informal lectures will include presentations by an art historian and Pensacola Opera’s Education and Community Outreach Director, Timothy Kennedy as they discuss the relationship between visual art and music during the period of the opera being presented. Delectable appetizers and libations will accompany the discussion. Held at the Pensacola Museum of Art, the talks are free and open to the public.

Producer’s Circle

Pre-show and during intermission of opening night for each opera, donors at the Producer’s Circle level and above are invited to join us for an exclusive reception with wine, champagne, and hors d’oeuvres.

Meet the Artists Reception

Our opening night receptions give you the opportunity to meet the internationally known artists whose talent, determination and sheer athleticism bring our operas to life. Join your friends after the opening night performances for a catered reception. Space is limited. Reservations are required.

Director’s Brunch

Enjoy the popular pre-performance champagne brunch and a lively presentation led by Pensacola Opera’s Artistic Director Kyle Marrero before Sunday matinee performances.
