Join Pensacola Opera as we bring Mark Adamo’s operatic adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s American literary masterpiece to the Historic Saenger Theatre. Loyalty, innocence, sacrifice, family bonds and personal fulfillment are explored in this coming-of-age story that follows the knotted destinies of the four March sisters during the turbulent American Civil War period.  Generations have grown up with Alcott’s characters, and Adamo’s melodic and tonal arias and ensembles sung by a star-studded cast powerfully communicate their strong emotions and the love which holds them together.
