Join us this April for Opera University, a series of FREE, interactive, in-depth discussions held at the Pensacola Opera Center. This is your opportunity to learn more about opera performance, composition, and culture, in conversation with Director of Education Cody Martin. Become a more informed opera audience member, and bring all of your questions (and a pencil)!
Our first discussion will be all about recitative in opera. Spanning from the 16th century to today, musical representation of speech has been an important tool in creating and developing drama on stage.
