About the Guild
The Pensacola Opera Guild is the volunteer support group for Pensacola Opera. It is a thriving organization comprised of opera-loving men and women from all walks of life who come together to support the mission of the Opera. Guild members take an active role in volunteering both their time and talents by working behind the scenes, in the opera offices, housing artists, volunteering during productions and assisting with the Opera’s annual fundraising events. Members also play a leading role in supporting our children’s opera and education programs such as, “Family Opera-tunity Day,” “From Words to Music,” and our Summer Opera Camps.
To be a member, all you need to do is fill out a volunteer interest form, pay a minimal membership fee, and then simply, volunteer! Once you have submitted the volunteer interest form, we will match your preferences and schedule to meet our needs and contact you as opportunities arise. Most volunteer opportunities are seasonal (January – April) and communications are carried out via email. Volunteers can be any age – young or old, anyone looking to make a difference and become more involved with Pensacola Opera is welcome to get involved.
Volunteer opportunities are categorized into three areas: special events, administrative tasks, and production assistance.
