The Mission
of pensacola opera
Pensacola Opera is a non-profit, professional company serving opera to Northwest Florida. Through performances and a variety of innovative, educational, and community programs, we serve over 40,000 children and adults each year.
Our mission is to enrich the culture of Northwest Florida by producing professional opera performances, educational programs, and other opera-related community events for people of all ages, interests and backgrounds.
Our vision is to be the premier arts organization in Northwest Florida, and to be the premier opera company of the Southeast.
Our History

Pensacola Opera has over four decades of history in Pensacola, FL. From simple beginnings in 1983, to our now robust calendar of programming.

Pensacola Opera Chorus
Our volunteer opera chorus is vital to our mainstage productions. Made up of people from all walks of life, our Opera Chorus sings alongside the principle artists on stage and represents our company in the community.
bravi! volunteers
Bravi! is the volunteer support group for Pensacola Opera. It is an organization of opera-loving people from all walks of life who come together to support the mission of the Opera. Bravi! Members volunteer their time and talents in our mainstage productions, education and community events, fundraising events, and more.
