Opera After Dark: Community Cabaret AUDITIONS
Pensacola Opera presents a special, one-night-only concert event on Thursday, June 11—and you could be one of our star performers! Opera After Dark: Community Cabaret is a unique opportunity for talented members of our local community to sing as part of a cabaret performance at the Opera Center. Collaborate with Pensacola Opera Music Director Cody Martin on the keys, performing for a ticketed audience on a varied program of showtunes, jazz standards, and more.

HOW TO JOIN THE SHOW
Auditions will be held at the Opera Center on Saturday, May 9 with time slots from 1 – 4 PM. Auditionees should prepare the song they would like to sing on the concert. For the audition, bring either a pre-recorded accompaniment track or sheet music for a pianist (three-hole punched and in a binder). No a cappella auditions, please. Suggested genres for this program are musical theatre, jazz, art song, opera, or Great American Songbook. Those who are selected to perform must be available for a rehearsal Wednesday, June 10 from 7-9 PM and for the show on Thursday, June 11.
